United States PostgreSQL Association Profile and History

PostgreSQL Conference has been the leading conference for the PostgreSQL Community since 2007. We generated over 85,000 USD for the community. We also brought many people to the community as a whole. We are pleased with the results of the conference series. As of the last show in September 2011, we have decided to take a hiatus. At this point the PostgreSQL Community has grown to host many confere nces not only throughout the U.S. (many held in local areas via user groups) but also the world. As the leader of the conference series team, I am not sure what is next for us. We have a couple of strong ideas of how to bring the conferences full circle and more beneficial than ever. However, it is unlikely that we will pursue this in the immediate future. Thank you for all the support through the years.
