With a history of over 60 years in the renovation, restoration and finishing of all type of dwellings this is the third generation which has now evolved into the importation and distribution of construction, finishing and furnishing materials. The company aims to deliver high quality products at unbeatable prices. In 2008, Victor, the youngest from the Carmelo Vella family, finished his studies in Architectural and Engineering studies at the BTEC Institute and University of Malta and decided to venture into the importation of construction materials primarily for the use of their already well-established construction company and its client. Moreover, his determination to deliver his products and achieve client satisfaction without compromises led this company to expand further and in 2016, the company saw the opening of two more showrooms both in Malta and in Gozo. This event made the company into an all-rounder and a key player in the industry. The Home Emporium started as a family-run business, as the 'Ta Vella' family had always been a pioneer in the construction industry. On matters of construction and finishing works, return clients always had their minds at rest. Client satisfaction was always the most important goal for these entrepreneurs. After only a year, Victor established his own importation company and opened his first showroom in Gozo for the sale of tiles, bathrooms, sanitary ware and adhesives for the general public. Two years later, Victor ventured into the Maltese market and opened his offices in Msida. Determination and hard work resulted in the creation of V. J. Vella Imports as a well-established importer and distributor to more than 150 shops, retailers and showrooms across all Malta and Gozo.
