The Elmseed Enterprise Fund's mission is to create successful businesses in New Haven by providing start-up capital, business training, technical assistance, and a network of peer support. By providing access to small, low-interest loans and technical assistance, Elmseed seeks to open the capital markets to motivated entrepreneurs who lack access to traditional capital and the resources necessary to start or expand their small businesses. Elmseed is committed to encouraging sustainable economic self-reliance in the greater New Haven area.
