Lions Clubs International Profile and History

Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organisation in the world. We have more than 1.35 million members in more than 46,000 clubs worldwide. Lions are everywhere - we're men and women active in more than 208 countries and geographic areas. Our motto is "We Serve".� Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also feed the hungry, aid seniors and the disable d, and care for the environment. Lions are a global service network of volunteers that make a difference in their local communities. I'd like to personally welcome you to our web site. It's packed with information about what we do in District 201V5, Multiple District 201 and Lions Clubs International. This Lions District covers Lions, Leos and Lioness Clubs in southern, eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne and parts of northern and central Victoria. There are 70 Lions Clubs, 4 Leo Clubs and 1 Lioness Club all dedicated to community service. If you're a 201V5 Lion, take the time to browse the website. You will find many useful resources here.
