IMG Jewelers Profile and History

IMG is the largest importer of loose diamonds in Northeast Ohio and is known around the world for the quality of its designs. One of the many awards bestowed on IMG was the 1973 American Design Award from DeBeers Diamonds Today, perhaps the most prestigious. IMG's original designs are created even today by beginning with a wax carving before proceeding on to the precious metal that will become the final product. One step away from the showroom and downstairs on the premises, the diamond setters and artists are busy at work on the jewelry. Whether it is a custom design or one of the several presented for sale in the showroom, the care of their customers is visible. In a day of mass-market production, IMG presents a window to the past with its tradition of honoring the desires of all who come through the front door. From the young couple starting out to the husband buying something special for his wife of 25 years - to celebrate their marriage and their success - IMG customers come away with more than jewelry. IMG also extends the value of family concern to the community at large, sponsoring innumerable charities, including muscular dystrophy, cancer and Jewish charitable organizations.
