Fibro Chem, LLC is a growing specialty chemicals formulator and manufacturer of products for a wide variety of industries. Specializing in controlling the behavior of substances at surfaces, we provide highly effective, innovative solutions to a large array of manufacturing process and product additive needs. Dalton, Georgia is home to our headquarters as well an advanced research and development laboratory, qualitative analysis laboratory, and our modern, well equipped production facility. Our manufacturing capabilities are well suited for every need from pilot scale to bulk production. Fibro Chem owns and operates a fleet of tank and box trucks that enable us to deliver products in a timely and efficient manner to our customers. Centrally located in northern Georgia, a large portion of the USA manufacturing industry is located within a one-day truck delivery radius of our plant. Since its founding in 1975, Fibro Chem manufactures specialty chemicals designed for use in a variety of industrial applications. These products are primarily used in the production of carpet and textiles, and also as ingredients in HI&I, personal care, metalworking and paper chemicals. Carpet related products include extrusion lubricants, staple fiber over-sprays, softeners and carpet dyeing and finishing auxiliaries. In 2006, Fibro Chem solidified its organic growth platform by creating two new product divisions; Innovative Specialties and XL Performance Products; that primarily focus on specialty components and performance product formulations, such as silicone materials, foam control agents and derivatized silicone polymers. These products are used in coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants, personal care, textile, wastewater treatment, paper, fermentation and other industries. On January 16, 2007, Fibro Chem was recapitalized by an investor group led by CLB Partners in conjunction with the previous owner and management team under its current name of Fibro Chem, LLC. On March 13, 2008, Fibro Chem, LLC acquired the assets of Four Colors, Inc. and Resource Solutions, LLC. Four Colors is a leading provider of dyestuffs used in dyeing processes primarily within the carpet manufacturing industry but including other industries using similar dyes, such as paper and textiles. Resource Solutions sells chemical auxiliaries used in the dyeing process. Both businesses will continue to operate as usual, with their current personnel and with their established names.
