Campofresco Profile and History

Established in 1982, Campofresco produces fruit products under its proprietary Lotus (in use since 1892), Caribe (since 1950) and Caribik Sun (since 1982) brands, among others. The company also manufactures products for PepsiCo under the Tropicana label and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group under the Snapple and Mistic brands under strategic packing agreements. In addition, Campofresco manufactures product s for Wal-Mart (Great Value) and other private supermarket-exclusive labels like Amigo, Econo, Selectos and SuperMax. As of 1994, Campofresco has been the leading supplier of juice products for the U.S.D.A. funded Puerto Rico School Lunch Program, reaching over half a million students each semester.
