ANZCA Profile and History

ANZCAs e-newsletter Stretto contains valuable information on topics including examinations, composers, improvisation, publications, forthcoming events and scholarships. Stretto is emailed bi-monthly (February to December) to all addresses in our email contacts list. ANZCA offers annual Theory Scholarships for Grades Four and Five. Most ANZCA subjects are approved for inclusion on the following state and territory education certificates: For approved subjects/grades and other information, see Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority www.qcaa.qld.edu.au ANZCA qualifications of Grade Seven and above can also be used to obtain a ranking from the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) for application to enter some Queensland tertiary institutions. Application for this ranking can be made to QTAC, or by forms available from school counsellors. Note: NSW and Victorian Education Bodies (HSC and VCE) do not accredit music examinations from any external music examination body. Only the HSC and VCE courses (set by the Education Departments in NSW and Victoria) are recognised.
